Day 24 Howl o Ween for Chain Free Beaufort - Man eats dog food 30 day c...

Day 24 of our 30 day man eats dog food challenge finds us at Hemingways in Beaufort SC on behalf of Chain Free Beaufort. As a "famous" author of my book "Educating Humans" I was chosen to be the celebrity judge for the best costume contest. I had to bar Murphy when he tried to enter.

There is not a lot of music in this particular video but I would like to thank Partners in Rhyme for the free sound effects.

Day 15 - Man eats dog food for charity 30 day challenge - The TV Show

Day 15 sees my taking a break by feigning laryngitis and having "mom" do the interview today. Dad is still slogging away at the dog food challenge and we are promoting an event at Sol in Savannah.
I got to nap through the entire interview yet still get most of the credit.

I love my job.

Day 14 - Bluffton Mayor eats dog food - Man eats dog food charity challenge

Okay, here is the deal. I challenged my "human dad" Jeff to eat dog food for dinner every night for 30 days to raise money and awareness for two great charities, For Paws Hospice and Canine Cancer Awareness. We have been following his progress and here on Day 14 he had some company get in on the act. Our hometown of Bluffton SC Mayor Lisa Sulka joined in on the fun along with Bluffton Today reporter and the host of "Feeding Frenzy" Barry Kaufman.

Thanks to both of them for being such good sports.

Have a great day and please make sure to check out my new blog for Hilton Head Monthly magazine.

Hello again!

.

Do I apologize for being away for so long or do I just get back to it. Last post, Sept 2009, well at least I haven't been away for a year yet. I still have my primary job as head taster and spokesdog for Lucky Dog Cuisine and I am still the busiest dog in town.

No excuses though. Those of you closest to me know that I have been working on my book rather than blogging and it is finally almost ready to go. It has gone to the editors but hopefully they will be able to understand the special difficulties in translating from dog to human, not to mention the additional challenge of typing with paws, and will go easy on me.

We are going to be using the book primarily to raise money for animal charities. I will keep you informed either through my blog, twitter, facebook or my website that will be up and running by the end of the month. You can find me most places by using the name BugsyWonderdog. I only use the more formal "the" for special occasions.

In the meantime I have tried my hand at some Video Production. While I was learning how to use the equipment I put together a video about Murphy and I and an adventure we had recently. I call it the Lucky Dog Detectives.

I will be putting more Wonderdog Productions together and will share them with you as we go. Take a look at the video and let me know what you think. It really doesn't have a lot to do with anything but if you look back at some of my blogs you will find that is a trend.
